Normal Size Heart

Jim’s told me today that he recently saw Dr. Michele Hamilton for his regular heart check and there was some good news: Jim’s Heart is Normal Size This was a big surprise to Dr. Hamilton. Prior to the transplant, Jim’s heart was enlarged and this almost ruled him out as a transplant candidate. Further, I [...]

Jim’s Weight to 153

Jim has been working at gaining weight and he weighed himself this week in the buff and his weight is 21 pounds higher than his lowest weight since the transplant. Yeah! Hurrah!

Jim Better – Back at Work

Spoke with Jim earlier today and he was feeling much better and back at work. It is actually harder to get him on the phone when he is feeling well. Great his immune system was able to fight off this latest bug.

Jim has a cold

Jim has been nursing a cold for the last two days. He doesn’t have any fever which is good news. UCLA said to keep monitoring the temperature and let them know if any fever develops or if he coughs up anything. Jim has been mostly sneezing and has had some headaches. Jim didn’t go into [...]
