It’s been over a week since my last post, so a couple of people have e-mailed asking why we haven’t been posting. We had a nice holiday and Jim is doing well. Last week his primary insurance company said that they would fax their decision to UCLA by Tuesday. So we expect to hear something from the insurance folks toward the beginning of the week. Jim also got the official letter from Dr. Lynch saying that he is approved for the transplant and that he expects it to happen in the next few months. When they activate him on the wait list next week Jim will find out exactly what his position is on the list.
