The mess that is health care is no surprise to the people who have been reading checkonjim. Just yesterday, Jim had a unbelieveable experience with his health insurance but I am going to let him tell you about it if he wants — I’ll just get unbelievably angry and say all sorts of things that you might not understand or appreciate. Anyway, here’s a link to a story about the current views by the Presidential candidates. Personally, single payer, eliminating all health insurance companies, is the only thing that will have any chance at solving the health care mess. I think the physicians at PNHP have the only real solution.

I fully agree with you that eliminating all health insurance companies, is the only thing that will have any chance at solving the health care mess.Nowadays health care is really a mess but it is no surprise to the people who have been reading checkonjim.
Did you see the Bunk study stating 2/3 of doctors in America want National Health Care. The doctors who did this study also conducted one in 2002 and found that the majority of doctors did not want national health care, the problem with this is that the 2 question surveys drastically differ in there 2nd question. I found this article, 60% of Physicians Surveyed Oppose Switching to a National Health Care Plan, It’s worth a read.
